N. Syria messenger Staffan de Mistura began a new circular of Syria talks on Wednesday by meeting members of the main opposition High Negotiations Committee in Geneva.

U. N. Syria messenger Staffan de Mistura began a new circular of Syria talks on Wednesday by meeting members of the main opposition High Negotiations Committee in Geneva.

De Mistura and the HNC delegates appeared grim-faced and tense as they began the session, remaining quiet while a Reuters camerawoman filmed the opening moments of the session.

A Syrian government delegation is expected to come on Friday.

The previous circular ended on March twenty-four with de Mistura promising to sharpen in on the divisive question of Syria'south political transition when the warring parties returned to Geneva.

Since then he's met executive in Moscow, Damascus and Tehran to collect opinions about the way forward, while Syria'south partial ceasefire has been certified by a flare up in fighting and Syria'south government has held a parliamentary election which it called a indicate of support for President Bashar al-Assad.
