S. Supreme Ct justice will be filmed in Buffalo, New York. Gov. Andrew Cuomo says preproduction for "Marshall" is already underway and filming is set to start in late May.

Thurgood Marshall film to be filmed in Buffalo

A film about Thurgood Marshall before he became the first black U. S. Supreme Ct justice will be filmed in Buffalo, New York.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo says preproduction for "Marshall" is already underway and filming is set to start in late May. Much of the film will be shot downtown at the former Dillon Courthouse.

State executive declare Hero Films, Chestnut Ridge Productions and Hudlin Entertainment expect to hire more than four hundred crew members and extras and will spend at minimum .5 million.

The project will benefit from New York'south film production tax credit program.
