We're pleased to announce the release of the brand new Sky News app, available to download totally free from the App Store or Google Play store now.

We've created a shiny new universal iPad application, updated our existing smartphone apps and for the first time ever, developed a version for Android tablet devices.

Available to Sky subscribers and non-subscribers alike, you can stream the live Sky News channel from anywhere in the UK, on the go or at home.

Whether it'south the latest, breaking or developing news stories, the new Sky News app will hold you up to date with in-depth coverage and analysis from our committed team of journalists and correspondents around the world.
