Investigators declare a man has been killed during a shooting involving two officers at a NC traffic stop.

Rockingham County deputies said in a news release the shooting happened around two a. m. Sun close Stoneville, about forty miles N of Greensboro.

Authorities released few details about the shooting, including why the traffic stop happened, whether anyone else was in the car and what the man did before he was shot. Neither the names nor the races of the parties involved have been released.

The State Bureau of Investigation has been asked to inquire into the shooting. The agency is also investigating a man shot to death about one hundred eighty miles far by police in a parking lot in Clinton after officers declare he pointed a shotgun at them.
