Police look for national park for lost VA firefighter

Thirty-one-year-old Nicole Mittendorff, of Woodbridge, Virginia, was reported lost Friday when she didn't indicate up for her work with Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

Authorities are searching for a paramedic-firefighter whose car was found in a parking lot in the Shenandoah National Park.

Thirty-one-year-old Nicole Mittendorff, of Woodbridge, Virginia, was reported lost Friday when she didn't indicate up for her work with Fairfax County Fire and Rescue. Family members declare she's an avid runner and tri-athlete who might've been in the park to utilize a running trial.

She latest had contact by text message with her family on Wednesday.

Police searched by ground and air Saturday and Sunday. VA State Police spokeswoman Corrine Geller says the look for is concentrated around White Oak Canyon Trail, where Mittendorff'south car was found. She says there is number proof to indicate foul play.
