The Collin County Sheriff'south Office had number reports of anyone damage in Monday'south storm in Wylie, about twenty miles northeast of Dallas.

Hail the size of baseballs has broken windows and damaged buildings and cars in the Dallas area, forcing the closure of some schools.

The Collin County Sheriff'south Office had number reports of anyone damage in Monday'south storm in Wylie, about twenty miles northeast of Dallas.

Wylie spokesman Craig Kelly says hail damaged the public safety building, but emergency personnel were able to continue their duties Tuesday. Kelly said damage to windows and roofs was being assessed.

The Wylie Independent School District canceled classes for the day. The district says in a statement that it couldn't allow a secure learning environment due to "significant" storm damage.

Number damage estimate was available. The district has more than 14.000 students on nineteenth campuses.
