The Kalamazoo Gazette reported Friday (http://bit. ly/1oqmVo2 ) that 45-year-old Jason Dalton told detectives that he'd asked the woman "if she could spare a dollar to create America great again." Dalton said he was going to leave after shooting her, but he heard other people screaming, so he turned his gun on them.

Police declare a man accused in a shooting rampage in Kalamazoo, Michigan, told detectives that he shot a woman exterior a restaurant after she declined his request for a dollar.

The Kalamazoo Gazette reported Friday (http://bit. ly/1oqmVo2 ) that 45-year-old Jason Dalton told detectives that he'd asked the woman "if she could spare a dollar to create America great again." The statements were included in police reports released Friday through a Freedom of Information Act request.
