m. Police declare the suspect in a shooting at the Richmond, Virginia, bus Sta has died. State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller told a news conference Thursday that the suspect died after he shot a trooper and two other troopers returned fire.

Police declare the suspect in a shooting at the Richmond, Virginia, bus Sta has died.

State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller told a news conference Thursday that the suspect died after he shot a trooper and two other troopers returned fire. She said the trooper was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Geller said two civilians were also injured, but had non-life-threatening injuries. It wasn't clear if they'd been shot.

Police had cleared the Sta by Thursday afternoon and arrangements were being made to obtain passengers to their destinations.

VA State Police declare two troopers responding to a shooting at a Richmond bus Sta and a civilian have been taken to a hospital.

Spokeswoman Corinne Geller says the shooting suspect was in custody Thursday afternoon. She'd number details on the condition of the troopers or the civilian.
