The San Antonio Spurs finished off the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, winning 116-95 and advancing to the second circular with a sweep. After the game, LaMarcus Aldridge proved he's officially a Spur by needling Tim Duncan in a television interview.

"Tim is one hundred years old, so guys love that, so you know, guys love that, they always necessity the rest," Aldridge told ESPN'south Heather Cox.

That'south just grand deadpan delivery. Also, he makes a excellent point -- San Antonio has a veteran roster, and getting a few additional days off should be great for them.

Duncan, by the way, turns forty on Monday. I ponder how the Spurs will celebrate -- would coach Gregg Popovich authorize paintball in the playoffs?
