Braves, Giants minor league pitchers given drug suspension

Atlanta pitcher Alger Hodgson has been suspended seventy-two games below baseball'south minor league drug program and San Francisco pitcher David Graybill has been banned fifty games.

Hodgson certified positive for metabolites of Stanozolol, the commissioner'south office said Tuesday. Graybill had a second positive test for a drug of abuse.

Hodgson, a right-hander from Nicaragua who signed in Jan and turned seventeen on Sunday, is on the roster of the rookie-level Dominican Summer League Braves.

Graybill, a right-hander who turns twenty-three following month, was drafted in the ninth circular latest June and allowed six runs over three innings and five games latest year for the rookie-level AZ League Giants.

There have been thirty-two suspensions this year for violations of the minor league program.
