Bernie Sanders told NBC News' Andrea Mitchell on Thursday that it'd be "hard" to win the Democratic presidential nomination if Hillary Clinton secures a majority of the delegates. But he also didn't declare he'd finish his two thousand sixteen run.

"Look, if we don't have a majority, it'south gonna be-- be tough for us to win," Sanders said in an exclusive interview. "The only fact that I think remains uncertain is if we continue to be running significantly stronger than she's against Donald Trump, or whoever the Republican nominee will be. I think that'south a factor."

Clinton easily won her residence state of NY latest week and looks positioned to do well in a no of primaries following Tuesday. Pressure continues to mount on Sanders to finish his insurgent White House tender as Clinton'south delegate lead continues to grow.
