The royal forces Prince William and Prince Harry met with “the force” today on the U. K. set of “Star Wars: Episode VIII.”

Prince William, thirty-three, and Harry, thirty-one, were given a tour of the “Star Wars” set at Pinewood Studios exterior of London by two of the much-anticipated movie’s stars, Daisy Ridley and Label Hamill.

The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry are visiting the production workshops and meeting the creative teams behind “Star Wars,” including exploring the props, costumes and creatures from “Episode VIII.”

The princes, who admitted to being enormous “Star Wars” fans, stopped to get a see at a Chewbacca mask while on the tour and also engaged in a lightsaber duel.

Prince Harry showed he's the king of hugs with his embrace of Chewbacca, while Prince William made a new pal, squatting down to meet BB8.

Hamill, who plays Luke Skywalker in the film, tweeted his excitement before William and Harry’s visit.

Prince William is president of the British School of Film and Television (BAFTA) and hopes to highlight the wealth of British talent engaged in the filmmaking industry. The “Star Wars” visit today was William’s first royal engagement since he and his wife, Kate, returned latest weekend from a weeklong ride to India and Bhutan.

Latest year’s blockbuster “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” was the highest grossing film of all time in the U. K. Tag Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Driver, Daisy Ridley, Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis will return for the new installment, Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro will create their "Star Wars" debuts.

“Star Wars: Episode VIII” will be released in December two thousand seventeen.

"Star Wars" is produced by Lucasfilm, a subsidiary of the Disney Co., which is the parent company of ABC News.
