Our taste-testers were immediate fans of dairy-, chemical- and emulsifier-free “mylk” in chocolate and chai. Both flavors were rich, refreshing and tasty. Both contain biological coconut milk, filtered water and date nectar as a sweetener. The chocolate flavor adds biological cacao. Chai goes further, adding turmeric and cardamom to cacao. A coffee flavor should connect the lineup soon.

Mix

Light with a fresh and spotless flavor, this petit-bottle soda is a not-too-sweet way to chilly down on a hot summer day. Attempt it alone or as a mixer for gin or vodka.

Try

Brewla’s frozen bars aren’t too sweet, drippy or loaded with preservatives. We liked the icy texture, unique flavors and healthy ingredients. They contain number caffeine, fifty or fewer calories (the sweetener is cane sugar) and are kosher. Four are made with craft-brewed teas. Two others are essentially frozen root beer and coffee.
