The final winner of "American Idol" was announced latest night and it'south Trent Harmon.

After the legendary win, Harmon took to Instagram to address his fans.

"I worked hard, but ya'll did this," he said in a video posted online. "All I did was indicate up and sing ... and I love you."

Here are five things to know about the grateful winner, who'south the very latest "American Idol."

"Falling" is the youthful singer'south first official tune and it'south already in the top ten on iTunes. "Idol" judge Keith Urban actually co-wrote the song with the star, so that'south a huge plus.

Harmon, twenty-five, is from Amory, Mississippi, and he first became interested in music at age five, according to the American Idol Wikia. He attended the Univ of AR at Monticello and tried out for other singing shows before hitting it large on "Idol."

Contestants obtain near on "Idol," but Trent and Dalton Rapattoni really epitomize camaraderie. They post tons of pictures together and one is even captioned, "That'south my best friend."

Harmon also supported the heck out of Rapattoni, even though he needed America'south vote as well.

"Thankful for this crazy, crazy, man's friendship."

This past Easter, Harmon shared a photo from church and wrote, "Pleased Easter, y'all. Have fun today; recollect your purpose, where you've been, who'south you're and where you wish to go."

He even shares inspiring quotes from others.

"Hope you guys are having a very solid Tuesday. Luh you bunches," he wrote latest month.

Fans have sent him lots of St. Louis Cardinals gear and his reaction was, "Holy cow, you guys!!"

He also posted a lot of pics enjoying NASCAR.

He's also set to sing the National Anthem this weekend for the Manny Pacquiao fight.
