Iman lost her mother just two months after she laid her late husband David Bowie to rest.

The supermodel announced the news Friday in an emotional Instagram post.

"Saddened by death of my mom Maryan Baadi. May Allah grant her the highest jennah. I implore that you respect my family'south privacy during our time of grief #ripmaryanbaadi," she wrote following to a family photo that featured her late husband on their wedding day.

The news comes months after Bowie, who was married to Iman for nearly twenty-four years, died at the age of sixty-nine. The musician passed far Jan. ten after battling cancer for more than a year.
