Necessity a job? Nearly one hundred employers will be on hand Wednesday for Woodland work objective

Nearly one hundred employers, educators and apprenticeship programs will be represented Wednesday at a work objective in Woodland.

The event will running from ten a. m. to one p. m. at the Woodland Community Middle at two thousand-first East St.

The Yolo County Health & Human Services Agency is the primary host for the annual event, which aims to connect work seekers with numerous employers.

The agency said this year’s list of on-site employers includes Cache Creek Casino, Dunnigan Hills, Express Pros, Mariani Nut Co., Motel six, Operating Engineers Local No.3, PGP International, Pierce Heating and Air, St. John’s Retirement Village, Walgreens, Winters Joint Unified School District and numerous temporary employment agencies.

Available positions running the gamut: machine tool engineers, service technicians, administrative personnel, retail workers, warehouse workers, sorters, gathering line personnel, security and food service employees, cement workers and residence health care associates.
